Douglas lifeboat rescued two people from a sinking fishing boat yesterday.
The Joy and Charles Beeby launched just before 1.30pm as the 15-metre fishing vessel took on water and suffered a loss of power and communication.
As the boat was being towed back to Douglas, it sank around four miles from Laxey - but both its crew had been transferred to the lifeboat.
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
