Port St Mary's volunteer lifeboat crew sprang into action to help an injured sailor last week.
The all-weather lifeboat Gough Ritchie II launched at around 4.30pm on Friday after reports a crew member aboard a 10-metre catamaran had been hurt.
After reaching the vessel, the RNLI crew transferred the yachtsman to the lifeboat and brought him to Douglas.
There, he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
