Douglas lifeboat was called out last night when a yacht got into difficulties off the Island's coast.
The crew were called out at 10.35pm after the 11-metre vessel's engine began to overheat seven miles south of Douglas.
The Sir William Hillary reached the boat, with one man aboard who was sailing from Belfast to Douglas.
The yacht was towed to Douglas and berthed, and nobody was hurt during the incident.
