Peel lifeboat was called out in the early hours of this morning after a Northern Irish fisherman injured himself off the Island's west coast.
At around 4.20 am, the Ruby Clery went to the aid of the 21 year old who was working aboard the Nicola Joanne when he slipped, gashing his hand on the wheelhouse window.
A helicopter was alerted but the lifeboat rendezvoused with the boat 14 miles from Peel, transferred him aboard and brought him back to the Island.
He was taken to Noble's Hospital by ambulance.
