Douglas lifeboat was called out yesterday to help search for a missing person.
The Sir William Hillary went into action at 11:35am and conducted a shoreline search from Douglas to Port Soderick.
However, the missing person was reported to be found safe and well around 45 minutes later.
The volunteer crew returned to station where the vessel was prepared for service.
