The lieutenant governor will be marking Ramadan at the Island's Islamic Centre next month.
As part of the holy month for Muslims, Sir John Lorimer is to take part in an iftar, or fast-breaking meal.
It'll be held at the mosque on Finch Road in Douglas on Saturday, March 7.
Ramadan this year began on Tuesday, Feb 17 and will end on Thursday, March 19.
