Pubs are facing a 5.7 per cent rise in the cost of their licenses.
When Tynwald sits this week, members will be asked to vote for plans to increase licensing fees from the Department of Home Affairs.
If approved, the new fees would come into effect from April 1.
The department says it's thought the increase will net it an extra £8,000 in the coming year.
