The Liberal Vannin Party is calling for the Island's minimum wage to match the living wage by April 2023.
Currently, the government's target is to achieve this by 2026.
Earlier this year, the living wage was calculated at £11.05, with the legal minimum wage standing at £9.50.
Paul Weatherall, Chair of the political party, says making this commitment will significantly help those on low incomes struggling to make ends meet.
