A popular Douglas restaurant has announced it will be closing its doors after 44 years in business.
L'experience on Queen's Promenade said it was due to the "immense pressures" faced by the hospitality industry in recent years, which created "insurmountable" challenges.
It's set to close on October 25.
The French eatery's current owners said staff had been offered roles in The Regency Hotel's planned new restaurant, which will be called "La Table", subject to the transfer of licences.
