Flood protection plans for Laxey will go on display next month.
They can be viewed on 21st October at the Working Men's Institute.
The multi-million pound project was announced in 2019 after a river burst its banks, leaving dozens of properties submerged under water.
It is thought the plans will include a debris catcher in the watercourse and improved drainage.
An Isle of Man flood report has identified Laxey as one of 11 places on the island at high risk.
The drop-in session next month will give residents the chance to catch up on progress, and a presentation is scheduled for 18:00.
