Fresh faces are needed to support the Laxey Fair and ensure it runs in the future.
That’s according to volunteer Mel Christian who says the committee is seeking young people, who would like event management or hospitality work experience, to get involved.
The event was rested last year - with the committee saying the format would need to be revisited whilst keeping the school and the community at ‘its heart’.
Mrs Christian, who is also a Garff Commissioner, says the fair is a ‘cherished’ part of the village’s calendar:
