The new Laxey Bridge will be closed for up to two weeks from today.
The Department of Infrastructure has a road closure order in place until December 9th to allow for the final re-surfacing of the road.
The work is expected to take three days but the department says it applied for longer as a precaution - allowing for bad weather or unexpected delays.
