The Ben-my-Chree crossing to the Lancashire Port originally planned to depart at 7.45pm will now leave at 8.30pm.
The Steam Packet Company says this is due to the tidal restrictions at Heysham Port.
Passengers are being told to check-in no later than 7.45pm.
