Last year saw Steam Packet transport highest number of passengers since 2007

Last year the Steam Packet Company carried the highest number of passengers and vehicles since 2007.

Figures show there were 623,037 passengers and 197,745 vehicles transported in 2023.

It comes as Manxman officially joined the fleet last year.

The numbers show continued growth following the pandemic, and is a rise on 2022, which saw 595,390 passengers. 

Managing Director Brian Thomson says they currently have further improvements underway on the Manannan, including an improved children's play area and larger retail space.
