The Isle of Man's new language café will open its doors today as part of efforts to 'welcome the stranger'.
Café Lingo will help people who don't speak English as their first language - with reading, writing, speaking and listening practice:
The café is being held at the Promenade Methodist Church on Douglas Promenade - it will run between 10.30am and 11.30am each Saturday and is free to attend.
It's been set up by retired deputy headteacher Karen Norton who's hoping it will stop people feeling isolated:
