An area of Lake Road in Douglas will be closed for the next week.
The closure is a small street running from Lake Road to Bridge Road beside Quayside Apartments, due to concerns of an unsafe building.
The closure is expected to be in place until 4:40pm on Monday March 21.
The DOI has clarified there is no issue with going to Tesco.
