The Island's Lieutenant Governor says next week's royal visit will be a very special one.
Yesterday, it was announced King Charles will arrive in Douglas on Tuesday, July 14 and attend a special sitting of Tynwald.
He'll also go to a reception at Government House and will also try out a horse tram on Douglas Promenade during his stay.
Sir John Lorimer says the first official visit by the new Lord of Mann is a significant moment in the Island's history.
