That's the question Douglas North MHK David Ashford wants answering in the House of Keys next week.
When MHKs gather on Tuesday, he'll ask Treasury Minister Alex Allinson about the scrapping of the Micard system.
Mr Ashford wants to know what the impact will be on those who can't open a bank account or are digitally excluded.
