One of the Island's schools is celebrating its 130th anniversary.
A week of celebrations will begin on Monday October 10 for Kewaigue School, including a Victorian Day and exhibition of photographs and memorabilia.
Adrian Shorthouse, Kewaigue's headteacher, says children and staff have been preparing for the celebration with a view to appreciating the impact the school has had on generations of families and wider Island community.
