Kennaugh Dedicates Win to Injured Bellis
Local lad and Team Great Britain Cyclist Peter Kennaugh dedicated his World Championship fourth place finish to fellow competitor Jonny Bellis over the weekend.
Kennaugh’s determined race was described as race of the week by a GB competitor in the English press, he joins a roster of UK talent increasingly dominated by Island born cyclists.
Jonny Bellis is still in an
induced coma in Italy
following a scooter crash last weekend, he had an operation to remove a blood
clot from his brain over the weekend – doctors are currently pleased with his progress.
