Douglas council says it has just under 40 properties on a dilapidation blacklist.
At its last meeting, the local authority heard its schedule of properties in a state of dilapidation or disrepair had 38 entries on it.
Four properties had been removed recently because work had been carried out on them, while another eight had been added.
This month's council meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 8 starting at 2.30pm.
