The speaker of the House of Keys says Junior Tynwald is vital in sparking political debate among young people.
Juan Watterson made the statement following a session which saw Year-12 students assume roles as members of the HOK and LegCo.
He also thanked all the students that took part in the event.
Junior Tynwald is organised by the Isle of Man branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.
