Athol Street assault accused back in court in 4 weeks time
John Redmond has appeared back in court today charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to a 61-year-old man.
The victim was discovered on Athol Street last Monday with serious injuries, he’s been in Nobles ever since where Police say his condition is steadily improving.
Redmond was arrested shortly after he was discovered.
The court heard how the case is still in its very early stages however they are confident there will be a significant update at the next hearing.
He’ll be back in court on Tuesday 16th August.
