Joe Locke to make broadway debut in January in Sweeney Todd

Local lad Joe Locke is set to make his Broadway debut as Tobias in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Joe is the star of the hit Netflix series Heartstopper, and has recently been filming the Disney Plus/Marvel series Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, set for release next year.

It's not his first time on stage, after he received the WhatsonStage Award for Best Professional Debut in 2022, for his role in The Trials, staged at the Donmar Warehouse in London.

He'll be appearing from the 31st January at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre.
