The Minister for Economic Development says his commitment to job prospects and security remains at the forefront of departmental plans.
Laurence Skelly explained that they're trying to combat the effect the rising cost of living is having on those surviving on lower incomes.
The Isle of Man's Job Market Statistics for September of this year showed that 859 people are registered as unemployed - a drop of 16% since September 2013.
Mr Skelly also highlighted how it was vitally important to the economy to reinforce Manx job prospects:
