Could Manx Telecom soon be Jersey-owned?
A company owned by private equity firm CVC Capital Partners is in talks to fund a £500 million buyout of the company, according to reports in the UK press.
The deal would see Jersey Telecom take control of MT and could go ahead within a matter of weeks.
Jersey Telecom is owned by the government of Jersey.
