Jaks could be re-opening in time for the busy Easter weekend following a serious fire last night.
The blaze started in the porch area of the Granville Street entrance to the venue.
Customers and staff were evacuated as fire fighters tackled the fire, which caused damage to the electrical box and restaurant stairwell.
Occupants of the flats above were put up in temporary accommodation overnight and arrangements are now being made to accommodate them over the next few days.
