A worldwide IT outage only affected government services provided by others, according to the Cabinet Office minister.
Kate Lord-Brennan faced a question for written response from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson about the recent Crowdstrike outage which took down systems around the world in what's thought to be the largest-ever incident of its kind.
Miss Lord-Brennan said the July outage didn't affect services hosted by the government but an external supplier had been affected.
A number of Manx Care services were also knocked out by the issue.
