Activities Planned to Mark the Global Warming and Climate Change Awareness Raising Day
A range of events and activities will be held today as part of the global 10/10/10 initiative.
It’s all about raising global awareness to heavyweight topics global warming and climate change.
There will be a host of activities on offer at the Laxey Wheel with a day of action and fun in the Organic Orchard at Milntown among many other things.
As part of the initiative a group of people have been working on clearing a cycle path from the Nunnery to just outside of Douglas.
They were busy yesterday with the next clearing session to be held next Sunday starting at 11am, the work is suitable for both adults and older children.
