Crimestoppers Leads to 70 Arrests Over 12 Year Period
The Isle of Man has played a role in getting the UK’s Crimestoppers arrests tally upto the landmark 100,000 figure.
The service has been established on the Isle of Man since 1998 and offers the public the chance to make anonymous tip offs to crimes.
In the last year there's been a 20% increase on calls receieved to Crime Stoppers on the Island, Chairman Stuart McCudden wants to remind people that it's a totally anonymous service with no way of tracing the calls back to the person.
