Recruitment Drive Launched by Isle of Man Police Force
Isle of Man Police are launching a recruitment drive for people to apply for places on the student officer-training programme.
It’s the sixth recruitment drive by the Constabulary since January 2007, when they made the switch to conducting the training exclusively on the Island.
Since 2007 almost 50 students have come through the ranks, with opportunities for them to go onto higher education and take a foundation degree in policing at The Isle of Man College or Chester University.
Successful candidates receive 30 weeks intensive training to prepare them for duties within the Neighbourhood Policing Teams.
To reserve a place on one of the open evenings or for further information, contact Jane McCann, Human Resources Team at Police Headquarters, by telephoning 631547 between 1pm and 4pm. All the information is available on the police website www.gov.im/dha/police/vacancies.gov.
