Island's ten richest revealed

The Island's ten richest residents are worth a combined total of around £11.7 billion, it's been revealed.

The Sunday Times Rich List, published tomorrow, shows Mark Scheinberg is the richest person on the Isle of Man, having made his £3.5 billion fortune through Onchan-based Pokerstars.

In second place in the top ten is Alki David, with a fortune of £2.6 billion, followed by property tycoon John Whittaker - worth an estimated £1.95 billion.

Only three of the ten wealthiest people saw their fortunes rise in the past year, while four saw a slump in their estimated worth.
