The Isle of Man Constabulary has become the first police force in the British Isles to be awarded the Investors in People Gold Award.
The accolade was granted following a review by an independent assessor who interviewed a number of employees from all levels of the organisation.
The police force was commended for its strong sense of team work, effective leadership and the values it upheld.
Deputy Chief Constable Gary Roberts told 3FM what the award meant to the constabulary:
