Police say this afternoon's incident in Ramsey involved a man being assaulted outside Tesco.
He's said to have received hospital treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Officers say at the store on Bowring road remains closed this evening, Saturday, February 7, as police are still in the car park but stress there's no risk to the public.
They're looking to speak to any witnesses who saw the incident near the supermarket, or anyone with dashcam footage.
