Island's first Olympic torch bearer revealed

One of the Isle of Man's leading charity workers has been unveiled as the Island's Olympic torchbearer for this summer procession.

Mo Sherring has been heavily involved in working with disabled people for many years and is also chairman of the Isle of Man Special Olympic Committee.
 
In addition, Mrs Sherring is a riding instructor for Riding for the Disabled as well as the top coach to athletes in the Paralympics.
 
A Pilates teacher by trade, she also played a huge part in the Island's recent success in the Winter Special Olympics.

Mo will have the responsibility of taking the torch on its leg from Liverpool to the Castletown.
