An amendment to a new law in the UK has been withdrawn to allow time for talks with the Isle of Man.
Last week in the House of Lords, Lord Falconer of Thoroton asked for extra protection for UK doctors with Isle of Man patients.
He asked for a change in the Crime and Policing Bill to make sure they weren't prosecuted for helping people with assisted deaths here.
However, he withdrew his amendment after hearing the Isle of Man government wanted more consultation.
