A memorial walk took place last weekend to remember those who died when their plane crashed into North Barrule in 1945.
31 American men lost their lives when their aircraft collided with the hillside due to low mist.
The annual memorial hike went ahead on Sunday April 23, organised by the Maughold Parish Social Club, where a local group walked to the summit.
The club gave a special shout out to Mike Corlett, who is still walking to the site carrying the American flag in his 90th year.
