Islanders continue to turn out for booster

It's all part of a record-breaking booster vaccination drive this week.

Early doors at the Chester Street booster drop-in clinic suggests the Manx government could continue it's record breaking booster vaccine stats throughout the week.

Queues are already starting to form as people show up for their pre-Christmas booster.

The Manx government said yesterday's clinic broke all vaccine records with 2,441 people getting jabbed on the second day of the drop-in clinics.

So far, over half of those eligible have now received a booster- that's about 33,000 people.

A spokesman has thanked members of the vaccination team "for helping to protect our community".

The booster rollout has now been extended to all adults over 18.
