Two local women are heading to the North West of England to help those who're living on the streets this winter.
Valerie Miller - who runs Mother T's in Laxey - and her friend, Rebecca Varley are taking a day-trip to visit Liverpool, Blackpool and Lancaster to give out vital things such as sleeping bags, blankets, toiletries and sanitary products to the homeless.
Valerie - who four years ago spent three weeks living on the streets in England to get an insight into the issue - says along with donating items they'll also be 'speaking to people who are often ignored and may feel islolated'.
Mother T's Community Centre is currently collecting unwanted clothing and other important items which could be used to help their cause.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet has assisted with their travel.
