The Island could be about to add Powerlifting to the list of sports we excel at.
A team of six men and six women will head to Belfast next month to take part in a Home Nations Powerlifting event.
The teams ages range from 14 to 40+ with only two of our competitors having represented the Island before at the Commonwealths in New Zealand last year.
The event will be held at the Corr’s Corner Hotel on November 4th, with our team up against competition from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
