A woman from the Philippines says she's anxiously awaiting calls from friends and family following the devastating typhoon which hit the country last week.
Typhoon Haiyan struck on Friday - the death toll continues to rise with more than 11 million people affected and some 673,000 displaced.
A massive emergency effort is underway with the government here donating £100,000.
