Island welcomes early Spring sunshine
The Island is currently experiencing it’s sunniest few days so far of 2011.
According to the Ronaldsway met office yesterday was the sunniest day of the year with 10.5 hours of sunshine, today however they’re expecting it to be even better.
Temperatures will reach highs of 15 Celsius today, a normally uncommon occurrence for March.
Forecaster Adrian Cowin is attributing the warm weather to the light breezes, this however is forcing temperatures down slightly on the coastal areas.
The good weather is expected to continue well into next week with dry conditions expected until at least Tuesday.
