Chief Minister Alf Cannan says the Island has the option to bring in UK laws if we need to regulate social media.
In the House of Keys this week, he was asked if there were any plans to ban under-16s from social platforms, as the UK considers imposing an Australia-style age limit.
Mr Cannan said there'd been no consideration of a similar ban here.
But he said a particular UK law could be applied to the Isle of Man if we chose:
Drone ban for skateboarding championship
Pick it up plea from Castletown commissioners
New online Isle of Man guide for refugees and asylum seekers
