The Rushen Heritage Trust's new season of talks has kicked off with 'The Island at War.'
Historian Charles Guard will lead the illustrated talk about the Isle of Man during World War II, telling stories of secret training, rationing, airfields, and looking at the Island's fortifications over the last 3,000 years.
The talk is taking place at the Erin Arts Centre on Monday December 6, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £5 and are available on the Erin Arts Centre website.
