Pollution levels on the Island are lower than the UK, according to a new two-year study.
The government's just published its 2026 air quality monitoring report, focusing on school areas as children's lungs are more vulnerable.
It found levels of nitrogen dioxide and sulphur dioxide were well below the UK's safe thresholds.
The report also showed short-term pollution increased during rush hour at places like Peel Road or Braddan Bridge, but this didn't affect overall results.
