A Douglas councillor says more tourism on the Island is contributing to a lack of rental housing.
Frank Schuengel took to Youtube after the government announced the Island had been nominated for a tourism award.
In a video, he says the Most Desirable Island in Europe nomination could mean even more properties are taken off the housing market for short-term tourism lets.
And he claims websites like Airbnb are already making it much harder for people to find homes.
