Irving's have court appeal rejected

Jonathan and Jamie Irving have had their appeal relating to the winding up of their company Street Heritage rejected in the courts.

It dates back two years ago when the company was saddled with outstanding tax liabilities of over £183,000.

The Irving's had claimed that advocate Stephen Harding had intentionally misled  the courts by not passing on details about their representation or indeed that they were in a position to try and reach a settlement which would have enabled the continuation of the company.

Although reprimanded it was ruled that Mr Harding had not acted deliberately.

It was the Irving's appeal of this judgement that has now been rejected by Appeal Judge Tattersall.
