The Island's Samaritans are encouraging people not to be afraid to talk about suicidal thoughts and feelings.
Following year's World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10) the charity is providing tips on how to help look out for one another.
It says with the cost of living rising sharply and an incredibly challenging few years - people may find themselves feeling more worried or anxious.
11 people on the Isle of Man took their own lives in 2021.
The charity says asking someone if they are suicidal doesn't make things worse - in fact - it can protect people, as it provides a crucial opportunity to open up, express feelings and seek help.
Anyone can contact the Samaritans, free, 24/7, 365 days a year on 116 123.
