Isle of Man Samaritans is celebrating its 43rd anniversary this month.
A group of local volunteers set up its own branch of the charity in 1979 to help those in need of emotional support.
It also works closely with companies, associations, clubs and societies and supports as many community events as possible.
You can find out more about volunteering with the Isle of Man Samaritans on its website.
