The Island's Post Office has suspended all postal services to Europe, Turkey and Canada with immediate effect.
It follows the announcement Royal Mail and Parcelforce are doing the same - a number of countries have now closed their borders to the UK.
As a direct consequencce - IOM Post Office has suspended services to these destinations immediately.
No items for these destinations will be accepted.
The Post Office adds it's unclear how long the disruption will be in place and has apologised for any inconvenience.
